The Initial Stages of Making Bespoke Shoes

Your journey begins with meeting Francis Waplinger and discussing what you’re looking for in your perfect shoe. Mr.Waplinger proceeds by taking a thorough and detailed measurement of your feet both while sitting and standing. Please keep in mind that more than one fitting is needed to ensure the best fit possible.
After the measurements are taken, Mr. Waplinger guides you through the many styles, colors, toe shapes, leather swatches, and designs you can choose from. This allows you the opportunity to decide the level of formality for the shoe. The price for bespoke dress shoes may range around $4,600 and may increase due to added features such as wanting a full rubber sole and heel. Overall, the process to make bespoke shoes may take a few months to a year. Although the price is more than you may ever want to pay for a shoe, the results look incredibly promising and you’ll end up with personalized shoes made just for you.
